We took all the feedback from the interview and converting it to post-it notes we would write for the WAAD. For example: "Honestly, depends on the food. Food is sourced from all sorts of places, some are state farms, some are UMD owned" from the student interview became "Food comes from both state and UMD owned facilities" in the WAAD.
We used Microsoft Excel to organize all our thoughts (look at Appendix C for all conversions) before writing them to post-its. Once writing the post-its we put them on a board and then started grouping. We have seven groups that we grouped and from the WAAD diagram we were able to see clearly the major roles, the sub-roles, and the machine roles. Below are pictures of the team working on the WAAD, pictures of the WAAD on a chalkboard, and the final WAAD diagram which we used www.padlet.com for.

Final WAAD Diagram
Our final product of the WAAD diagram. We have different groups, looking at different scopes: the hours of dining, the healthiness of the dinner, the preparation of the diner, the nutritional information of the diner, the benefits of the diner, the money aspect of the diner, and the digital information available of the diner. From this and the data we gathered, we concluded that the major roles include the chef and the dining services management. The sub-roles include the cashier, students, and the machine role is the meal plan database.
